Meet SessionGuide: Built by a Photographer, for Photographers

My photography journey started with my very first camera after high school, but in 2017 I decided to turn it into a full-time career. Like many photographers, I quickly discovered that one of the most time-consuming parts of my workflow wasn’t shooting or editing, it was the little behind the scenes tasks. One of those was helping clients choose a location. I’d spend hours going back and forth in emails and texts, trying to find past photos from locations that might inspire my clients and fit their style, and I could feel how much it pulled me away from the work that really mattered.

I wanted my clients to feel confident about their choice, prepared for their session, and impressed by the level of professionalism I brought to the table. For me, professionalism has always meant anticipating questions and easing worries before clients even think to ask. Location planning was a big gap in the experience, and I knew there had to be a better solution.

That’s why my husband and I created SessionGuide. It’s a tool designed by a photographer, for photographers, to build and share interactive location guides with your own content. Clients get to visualize themselves in the spaces you love to shoot, and you get to save time while offering an elevated, professional experience. SessionGuide was built out of my personal frustrations, but today it’s helping photographers everywhere take their businesses, and their client experience, to the next level!
